"I just hosted my first Bridal Shower for my sister, and really had no idea what I was doing. I came across your
website looking for guidance in planning a shower and found your FREE Shower Planning Guide. It became my bible.
I also relectantly ordered a few games. At first I was convinced that games were not really a shower necessity, but
as the shower got underway, I was glad to have them. We played 'Bridal Bingo', and 'What's in your purse?' Both
were great! But the game that was the show stopper was 'Read My Mind'. We laughed so hard when we heard some of
the crazy answers people came up with! Thank you for the support that made my first shower a complete success!"

"I recently purchased a couple games from this website because I was hosting a bridal shower for the first time. The
various hints provided on this site were already very helpful for a first-time hostess and then the games we received and
played were the icing on the cake. Everyone had fun with the different tasks the games presented and it was obvious it brought
the group of strangers together. People asked where I got the games and I referred them to your website. Thanks for helping
me through my very first bridal shower!"

Last minute shower saver!
|
"Recently I attended a baby shower that was a bore! The guests had divided themselves into small comfortable groups
that had no ineterst in mingling with others and the guest-of-honor was visibly bored. My girlfriend, who was hosting
the event, came to me in a panic. We needed something to break the ice! Luckily shower was held in a restaurant,
so I rushed to the manager for some help. He was able to give me a stack of blank copy paper, and I took up a collection
of pens and pencils. With these basic tools, I wrote the guest-of-honor's first and last name on the copy paper and
handed those out to each guest along with a writing utensil. I gave the players 3 minutes to come up with as many
baby names as they could using only the letters on the sheets, and since she was having a girl, only girls names would
count. This was a game I had played a million times before and it always seemed to be a hit, and it was again for this
shower. When the 3 minutes were up, people proudly called out some of the unique names that they came up while
others laughed and cheered together. We got the guest-of-honor directly involved by letting her vote on some of
the stranger names; like Mulva! We even got to award the winner with a gift certificate from the restaurant that
we were at, very generously donated by the manager. The shower was saved!"

Another Last Minute save!

"When planning my daughter's bridal shower, we had everything under control. That was such the wish, and of
course it wasn't under control. At the last minute we discovered we were short a game so creativity took over.
Since it was a standing fact that the couple was known to have several unusual happenings, we wrote little moments they had on
small pieces of paper. Some of the moments leaned toward missing the wedding while others got them to the alter on time.
These pieces of paper were then placed in ballons which we blew up and tied with pretty ribbon. We hung the balloons
up and as each guest popped a balloon they read the situtation. If they got the bride and/or groom to the alter they
got a prize. This was a great game and works well with couples that never seem to have their act together. Give it a try!"
